Favorable Pedoclimatic Conditions

Romania enjoys a climate and soil types that are conducive to the cultivation of hazelnuts. In any case, to be sure, we first perform performance tests for each hazelnut variety. Growing Market: There is a growing demand for hazelnuts both locally and internationally due to the awareness of its nutritional benefits. Agricultural Portfolio Diversification: The introduction of peanuts in the agricultural portfolio offers farmers the opportunity to diversify and reduce the risks associated with dependence on a single crop.

Grants:

There is the possibility to access subsidies and support programs for farmers, offered by both the Romanian government and the European Union, to promote sustainable and diversified agriculture. Of course we offer guidance from the experience gained from both projects that helped us establish the 50 ha forest hazelnut plantation with two equipped processing units. Sustainability and Low Environmental Impact: The hazelnut orchard can have a low ecological impact, requiring fewer chemical inputs and providing shelter for biodiversity. Long-term yield: Once established, a hazelnut orchard can produce crops for 50 years or more, ensuring a steady stream of income.
